Our little red dot celebrates its 50 years this year, and we can see that Singaporeans do not lack creativity in making it special. Together with Daphne Yuen and Tan Shi Bin, we were excited how they've decided to use a bear and mouse story to, well, tell an otherwise politically charged and sensitive story. Importantly, the heartbeat of it all is how despite the differences, we can still be best friends with neighbours.

We love the illustrations, and the wood-free paper reminds us of the drawing block we used to draw on during art-classes.

Do you remember the times when we played with erasers -- to see who overturns who. For one, Singapore did not overturn.

50 years. Not an easy feat -- thankful to be part of this SG50 project.
